Sri Lanka 107-5 in reply to New Zealand's 412

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka were 107-5 in their first innings at lunch in reply to New Zealand's 412 on the third day of the second and final Test at the P - Sara Oval in Colombo on Tuesday.

Prasanna Jayawardene was unbeaten on four at the break with Thilan Samarweera yet to open his account. New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee has so far bagged four wickets.

Sri Lanka lead teh sereis 1-0 following their 10-wicket victory in the opening Test in Galle.

ADELAIDE: South Africa batted out the final day to draw the second Test against Australia in Adelaide on Monday, Leaving the three-Test series in the balance.

Allrounder Faf du Plesis was the hero with an unbeaten 110 as the Proteas finished the final day 248 for eight ahead of Friday's last Test in Perth.

GALLE: Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 10 wickets on the third day of the opening Test in Galle on Monday to gain a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

The hosts effortlessly chased down a 93-run target, with debutant Dimuth Karunaratne remaining unbeaten with 50 and Thranga Paranavitana 31 not out.

New Zealand, trailing by 26 runs on the first innings, were shot out for 118 in their  second innings after lunch.

Sri Lanka Beat Pakistan by 16 Runs

Colombo: Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 16 runs to reached in the Final of ICC T20 World Cup 2012.

After winning the toss Sri Lankan Skipper Mahela Jayawardene decide to bat first. Both openers Dilshan and Mahela make 63 runs opening partnership. Afridi break this partnership.With Good Pakistani bowling attack, Sri Lanka made 139 runs in 20 overs. Dilshan made 35 , Sangakkara 18 and Mendis 15. Pakistan team was looking good in fielding. Afridi, Saeed, Hafeez, Umar gul took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target, Imran and Hafeez made 31 runs in First 6 overs. Imran Nazir out in last ball of Sixth over, Ajantha bowled out him.After this no other batsman cant big score. Hafeez was the top scorer from the pakistan team, he made 42 runs with one six. Umar Akmal made 29 runs not out. Umar made tries his best to do something, but train had gone. Herath took 3 and Angelo Mathews and Ajantha Mendis took 2 wickets each. Mahela Jayawardene declared Man of the Match. 

Final will be played on sunday. Second Semi Final will play tomorrow on this ground between West Indies and Australia. Match will be start 7pm at Pakistan local time.

Pakistan thrash Bangladesh by 8 wickets

Colombo: Pakistan Beat Bangla Desh by 8 wickets to qualify for Super 8. 

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat. In 20 overs, they made 175 for six, shakib made 84 on 54 balls. Yasir Arafat took 3 wickets. Afridi and Sohail Tanvir took 1 wicket each. 

Pakistan openers made a fantastic start. Both openers made starts for 124. Imran made 72 on 36 balls. Haeez made 45, nasir 29, and Kamran akmal 22 runs not out respectively. Abul Hasan got all 2 wickets. Pakistan will meet south africa in Super 8 on Friday. Match will start 3pm respectively.

In PalleKelle Stadium, Bangladesh will start the match with full hope , because they lose their first match against New Zealand. This do or die match, Bangali must win , otherwise their flight ready to go home.
